In most cases, men who get prostate cancer get a certain number of cancers, which then become malignant. Many men will go on to have a number of other forms of cancer. But many men will also get prostate cancer. In fact, only about 25 percent of men with prostate cancer will develop a new type of cancer.
Prostate cancer can start in many places, from small benign tumours to bigger, more aggressive cancers such as the malignant prostate cancer. This cancer can be found in a variety of different places in the body, and can sometimes be found on the genitals or elsewhere. For the most part, it is found in men of all ages and ethnicities, but the more advanced the cancer, the more likely it is to affect the prostate. There are two types of prostate cancer. The benign type is caused by a DNA mutation that causes only a mild form of the cancer to develop. But there are also more advanced cancers called the malignant prostate cancer.
